Hello, and welcome to the Diary Days & Dates newsletter for paid subscribers. It follows on from the free-every-Friday edition to cover the next six months: Monday 19 May to Monday 6 October, or International Accounting Day to National Badger Day.
This week, I went to the Southampton v Crystal Palace match (sitting in the home end despite being a Palace fan); started knitting a jumper, and posted on LinkedIn about creating an awareness day.
Has your organisation created an awareness day? Or would it like to? There's no official date-monitoring body you have to apply to; you just go for it. Last year Clarks nabbed a day for their Wallabees shoes (26 April), and four years ago, after I created this newsletter, I created Newsletter Day (13 November) to celebrate newsletters and their creators. Let me know of any new awareness days (or weeks/fortnights/months) and I can add them to Diary Days & Dates.
Thank you for the support you give me by being a paid subscriber: it’s really appreciated, and enables me to create better newsletters – for all subscribers.
If you know someone else who’d like Diary Days & Dates, you could give them a gift subscription.
Want a customised calendar?
Sick of scrolling past irrelevant (to you) dates in these newsletters? I can create a customised calendar focused on your chosen subject area: £60 for a six-month calendar; £100 for a full year. I’ve done this for individual subscribers, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a couple of charities and an NHS team. Health, fashion, drinks, environment… Tell me what you want…
